Amaal will be holding its first Annual Youth Conference ‘Who am I?’ on Monday 13th February 2012.
The conference will be run in celebration of the opening of our new 3 storey purpose built youth and community centre from where we are currently based.
The ‘Who am I?’ conference will seek to aid young women in realising their self-worth, boost their self-esteem and confidence and create a positive self-image. Please find attached and below poster with information for the event.

The Shaathi Mentoring Project will be facilitating a Seminar on “Addressing Complex and Interlocking Needs” of Vulnerable Children and Young People.
The seminar is targeted for front line workers, social workers, teachers, youth workers, health workers and volunteers. We have a number of specialist guest speakers that will be addressing the subject from their own expertise and field of work. We expect our seminar to broaden the understanding of all those who work with vulnerable children and young people and make them more confident in their role when addressing Complex and Interlocking Needs.
The day will also include case studies, workshops, information stalls, networking opportunities and an opportunity to see the new Osmani Centre.
