The Can Do Community Grants is a new project in Tower Hamlets running as part of the Healthy Borough Programme. They offer the opportunity for local people and informal groups to apply for funding to run projects which benefit the community and meet the core priorities of the Healthy Borough Programme.
If you have any ideas and wish to run a project which involves active lives, travel and healthy eating then we can provide a grant of up-to £500. The main beneficiaries must include approximately 85% of the residents in Tower Hamlets.
Closing Dates for each Community Grant Application:
– 14th August 2009
– 16th October 2009
– 11th December 2009
– 05th February 2010
The Can Do Community Grant is available to all residents in Tower Hamlets. Osmani Trust is responsible for applications received from residents living in LAPs 1 and 2.
